Guitarist: Peter Fischer
Age: 22
Location: Hollywood, California
Style: Rock
lnfluences: Allan Holdsworth, Steve Vai, Steve Lynch
Main Guitar: Charvel Strat-style

A guitarist from age seven, Peter was born and raised in Germany. Initially a student of folk and classical guitar, he didn't get serious about his playing until five years later, when he acquired his first electric and began performing in local bands. His first major influences were Kiss' Ace Frehley and, later, Edward Van Halen, Steve Vai, and Allan Holdsworth. He developed his advanced two-handed technique with the help of Steve Lynch's book The Right Touch. Peter spent his last two years in Germany touring, doing session work, and teaching.
Stateside less than a year, Peter is currently a student at GIT, where he continues his education, writing, and recording. On his inventive, refreshing new demo, he employs zany Vai-ish whammy stranglings, multi-fingered two-handed innovations reminiscent of Jeff Watson, and long, fluid legato lines over interesting tonalities, a la Allan Holdsworth. In the future, Peter would like to have success with a band whose style is a bluesy cross between the Police and Holdsworth. He also hopes to get session work with mainstream pop/rock acts.
